Tech Ed in Mumbai

Mumbai or Bombay as it was earlier called is the city of my choice to host Tech Ed
So far it has been the good fortune of Bangalore to Host Tech Ed but as Mumbai is the financial capital of the country it should get the experience of hosting Tech Ed.
Since a large number of  big companies and corporates have their head offices in Mumbai. These big honchos decide the IT budgets and other spending decisions.It would be thus a good idea to bring tech Ed to Mumbai.
Mumbai is also known as the land of bollywood. Films are like blood that flows in the veins of almost all indians just imagine if bollywood takes a liking for tech ed or better still make a flick on the backdrop of Tech Ed. then surely Tech Ed would become a great rage not just amongst the tech savvy but also the masses.It would add the element of glamor to tech ed.
Those travelling to mumbai to participate in Tech Ed (once it is decided to be held there)would get to experience the vast cultural diversity the city has to offer the Gujarati, Marathi & Parsi influences are quite evident. Depending upon the time of the year one decides to visit mumbai there is some festival or the other happening there. I can't help but imagine the techies taking a vada pao break ! between the tech sessions or taking a stroll on Chaupati enjoying bhel puri ,pani puri or kulfi.
After the tech events of the day the delegates can unwind at various night spots and let their hair down.
So mumbai in my opinion provides a great destination to host Tech Ed that would be a right mix of Glitz Glamour & Tech with the backdrop of Bollywood.
